Windows Support Engineer (L1/L2)

We are looking for a Windows Support Engineer Level 1/Level 2 to support our valued customers in Phoenix, with most of the client work in Deer Valley. They’ll be able to provide on-site 1st level support as our clients need in the Phoenix area.

We are looking for someone who can supervise and train other team members with their technical knowledge. To help with this, they’ll also document service tickets to share learnings amongst our team.

The successful applicant should have three years of practical experience supporting desktop computersThey’ll have a solid working knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Veeam, and TCP/IP. They should also have their own car to travel to client sites, for which we are happy to reimburse mileage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and hands-on 1st and 2nd level support for desktop, user, network, and server infrastructure both in-office and at client sites
  • Administration of user accounts
  • Survey, design, install, configure, and troubleshoot wireless network LAN technology
  • Document all service tickets, including issues, resolutions, and time spent resolving the ticket 
  • Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, offering revision and improvement suggestions as they emerge

What you need to succeed

  • Possess 1 year of practical experience supporting desktop computers, preferably working with a small IT consulting firm
  • Strong customer service skills and communication skills
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the Office 365 for Business platform
  • Familiarity with Active Directory
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, including DHCP & DNS server administration
  • Professional and team‐oriented attitude
  • Reliable transportation to office and client sites
